Flipside Views of Gender Equality
Gender equality, also known as sex equality or sexual equality or equality of the genders, implies that men and women should receive equal treatment, unless there is a sound biological reason for different treatment. This concept is key in the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights, where the ultimate aim is to provide equality in law and equality in social situations, especially in democratic activities and securing equal pay for equal work. The Equal Rights Amendment in the United States also aims to ensure gender equality.
Gender definition

Gender equality means an equal visibility, empowerment, responsibility and participation of both sexes in all spheres of public and private life. It also means an equal access to, and distribution of resources between women and men. It means accepting and valuing equally the differences of women and men and the diverse roles they play in society.
Gender equality is, first and foremost, a human right. people are entitled to live in dignity and in freedom from want and from fear. Empowering people is also an indispensable tool for advancing development and reducing poverty.
Empowered people contribute to the health and productivity of whole families and communities and improve prospects for the next generation. The importance of gender equality is underscored by its inclusion as one of the eight Millennium Development Goals. Gender equality is acknowledged as being a key to achieving the other seven goals.
Yet discrimination against people - including gender-based violence, economic discrimination, reproductive health inequities, and harmful traditional practices - remains the most pervasive and persistent form of inequality. people bear enormous hardship during and after humanitarian emergencies, especially armed conflicts.
Shouldnt all rise and be at the forefront in advocating for positive gender equalty, promoting legal and policy reforms and gender-sensitive data collection, and supporting projects that improve people's health and expand their choices in life.

The members of each gender have roles that can not be performed by the members of the other gender, and when some of this roles are performed by the wrong gender they are not performed well due to the sexual preference. A good example is child birth.
The term gender apartheid (also called sexual apartheid or sex apartheid) refers to the economic and social sexual discrimination against women. It is a system enforced by using either physical or legal practices to relegate women to subordinate positions. Feminist psychologist Phyllis Chesler defines the phenomenon as “practices which condemn girls and women to a separate and subordinate sub-existence and which turn boys and men into the permanent guardians of their female relatives’ chastity.” Instances of gender apartheid lead not only to the social and economic disempowerment of individuals, but can also result in severe physical harm.
"Potty parity" is equal or equitable provision of washroom facilities for women and men within a public space. Gender-neutral toilets are common in some contexts, including on aircraft, on trains or buses, portable toilets, and accessible toilets. Women spend more time in washrooms than men, for physiological and cultural reasons. The requirement to use a cubicle rather than a urinal means urination takes longer. Urinary tract infections and incontinence are more common in women. John F. Banzhaf III, a law professor at George Washington University, calls himself the "father of potty parity."[1] Banzhaf argues that to ignore potty parity, that is, to have merely equal facilities for men and women, constitutes a form of sex discrimination.
Not all ideas for gender equality have been popularly adopted. For example: despite Top freedom the right to be bare breasted in public frequently applies only to males and has remained a marginal issue. Breastfeeding in public is more commonly tolerated, especially in semi-private places such as restaurants.
It is the contentious meaning of the term "equality" itself that makes measuring gender equality "progress" inherently problematic. Newman and White suggest that equality can be understood in three distinct ways: identical treatment, differential treatment, and fair treatment. Identical treatment is the claim that equality means the deployment of generalizing, abstract, content-less reason, unaffected with regards to the gender it addresses. This view assumes that gender differences are entirely socially constructed concepts, and that an underlying, gender-neutral human should be the target of equality. Next, the differential treatment notion of equality is the claim that biological ("sex") differences do, in fact, exist as tangible and real, and that structuring treatment around these differences is not unequal, so long as these biological differences are accurately defined (that is to say, so long as differential treatment is not random).
Another view, that equality is fair treatment, is in a sense a reaction to both of the previous two claims. Equality as identical treatment assumes that the criteria we use to define human nature is itself objective, neutral, and fair for each human, and differential treatment assumes that there are inherent, empirical, tangible, biological differences that the binary categories of male-female derive from.
International Men's Day (IMD) is an annual international event celebrated on 19 November. Inaugurated in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago, the day and its events find support from a variety of individuals and groups in Australia, the Caribbean, North America, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Women's Equality Day is a day proclaimed each year by the United States President to commemorate the granting of the vote to women throughout the country on an equal basis with men. Women in the United States were granted the right to vote on August 26, 1920, when the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution was certified. The amendment was first introduced many years earlier in 1878. Every president has published a proclamation for Women's Equality Day since 1971 when legislation was first introduced in Congress by Bella Abzug. This resolution was passed designating August 26 of each year as Women's Equality Day.
World bodies have defined gender equality in terms of human rights, especially women's rights, and economic development. UNICEF describes that gender equality "means that women and men, and girls and boys, enjoy the same rights, resources, opportunities and protections. It does not require that girls and boys, or women and men, be the same, or that they be treated exactly alike."
The United Nations Population Fund has declared that men and women have a right to equality. "Gender equity" is one of the goals of the United Nations Millennium Project, to end world poverty by 2015; the project claims, "Every single Goal is directly related to women's rights, and societies where women are not afforded equal rights as men can never achieve development in a sustainable manner."
Thus, promoting gender equality is seen as an encouragement to greater economic prosperity. For example, nations of the Arab world that deny equality of opportunity to women were warned in a 2008 United Nations-sponsored report that this disempowerment is a critical factor crippling these nations' return to the first rank of global leaders in commerce, learning and culture.
In 2010, the European Union opened the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in Vilnius, Lithuania to promote gender equality and to fight sex discrimination.
It is also worthy to note that gender equality is part of the national curriculum in Great Britain and many other European countries. Personal, Social and Health Education, religious studies and Language acquisition curricula tend to address gender equality issues as a very serious topic for discussion and analysis of its effect in society.

Not allowing the rights of any gender degrades the society as the duties of the discriminated gender will not be carried as required. How many females (if any) are ready to perform male functions such as support their spouses and the entire family happily as adult males are expected to. How many males (if any) are ready to act like females and do what females do.

Over the years men have been responsible to perform duties that care for the family and have been given more duties to perform in many cultures as compared to their female counter parts. And after performing such they would have to share their rewards with the family and community unlike their female counter parts who at times choose to keep the rewards all to themselves.
A gay person is a male or female who has intercourse with a member of their sex instead of the opposite sex.
This threatens the existence of the human race and attacks society by attacking the family.
Aren't gay people, two individuals who are just masturbating with each other, females sticking objects in their buddies private parts and males playing around with their sticks with the wrong sex. Didn't this people have a relationship such as a friendship or a financial agreement before they began this actions, meaning they had a good relationship without such actions, and now the good relationship is used to support the taboo actions. Is it true that people become gay due to lack of a truly loving relationship from the opposite sex.
It is easier for people of the same sex to meet each other and make friends, this adding to the possibility of experimenting with each other and with time rejecting the right order of doing things. With all this gizmos and machines such as vibrators and pumps isn't it possible people can be mislead. The male body being more muscular can present the lure of a tighter pussy by contracting the muscles as compared to the female counter part.
Having intercourse with someone against their will (rape) is a crime.
Feminist movements may cry out for gender equality only when they are supporting issues that support their gender. If the genders are equal, why do men pay for dowry. why do men pay for alimony to assist the woman and children after the a divorce. Where are men given alimony by wealthy women after divorce.

If two people are getting married just because they want to have intercourse, shouldn't they face the possibility that sex may grow old.
Gender inequality refers to unequal treatment or perceptions of individuals based on their gender. It arises from differences in socially constructed gender roles as well as biologically through chromosomes, brain structure, and hormonal differences. Gender systems are often dichotomous and hierarchical; gender binary systems may reflect the inequalities that manifest in numerous dimensions of daily life. Gender inequality stems from distinctions, whether empirically grounded or socially constructed.
The men's rights movement (MRM) is a social movement and part of the larger men's movement. It branched off from the men's liberation movement in the early 1970s. The men's rights movement contests claims that men have greater power, privilege or advantage than women and focuses on what it has identified as issues of male disadvantage, discrimination and oppression. The MRM is considered to be a backlash to the feminist movement. The men's rights movement has been involved in a variety of areas related to law (including family law, parenting, reproduction and domestic violence), government services (including education, compulsory military service and social safety nets), and health that they believe are biased towards women. The men's rights movement's claims and activities have been critiqued by scholars and others, and sectors of the movement have been described as misogynist.
The men's rights movement is considered to be a backlash
or countermovement to feminism. The men's rights movement consists of
diverse points of view which reject feminist and profeminist ideas. Men's rights
activists have said that they believe that feminism has overshot its objective
and harmed men. They dispute that men as a group have institutional power and
privilege and believe that men are victimized and disadvantaged relative to
women.
Men's rights activists see men as an oppressed group and believe that society and state have been "feminized" by the women's movement. Warren Farrell and Herb Goldberg, for instance, believe that all men are disadvantaged, discriminated against and oppressed and argue that power is an illusion for most men since women are the actual bearers of power. Men's rights groups generally reject the notion that feminism is interested in men's problems and men's rights activists have viewed the women's movement as a plot to conceal discrimination against men. Sectors of the men's rights movement have been critiqued by some as exhibiting misogynistic tendencies. The Southern Poverty Law Center has said that while some of the websites, blogs and forums related to the movement "voice legitimate and sometimes disturbing complaints about the treatment of men, what is most remarkable is the misogynistic tone that pervades so many."
Divorce courts are frequently like slaughter-houses,
with about as much compassion and talent. They function as collection agencies
for lawyer fees, however outrageous, stealing children and extorting money from
men in ways blatantly unconstitutional... Men are regarded as mere guests in
their own homes, evictable any time at the whims of wives and judges. Men are
driven from home and children against their wills; then when unable to stretch
paychecks far enough to support two households are termed "runaway fathers."
Contrary to all principles of justice, men are thrown into prison for inability
to pay alimony and support, however unreasonable or unfair the "obligation."
Men's rights activists assert that domestic violence by women is ignored and under-reported, because men are reluctant to describe themselves as victims. They state that women are as aggressive or more aggressive than men in relationships and that domestic violence is sex-symmetrical. They frequently cite family conflict research by Murray Straus and Richard Gelles as evidence of sex-symmetry. Men's rights advocates argue that judicial systems too easily accept false allegations of domestic violence by women against their male partners. Christina Hoff Sommers has commented that "false claims about male domestic violence are ubiquitous and immune to refutation." Men's rights advocates have been critics of legal, policy and practical protections for abused women, campaigning for domestic violence shelters for battered men and for the legal system to be educated about women's violence against men.
Men's rights activists are concerned with false accusations of rape and sexual assault and desire to protect men from the negative consequences of false accusations. Quoting research including that by Eugene Kanin and the U.S. Air Force they assert that 40-50% or more of rape allegations may be false. They state that false accusations are a form of psychological rape. They assert that the naming of the accused while providing the accuser with anonymity encourages abuse.
Men's rights activists in the United Kingdom the United States and India have opposed legislation and judicial decisions criminalizing marital rape. The reasons for opposition include concerns about false allegations related to divorce proceedings, and in India anxiety about relationships and the future of marriage as such laws give women "grossly disproportional rights". Virag Dhulia of the Save Indian Family Foundation, a men's rights organization, has opposed recent efforts to criminalize marital rape in India, arguing that "no relationship will work if these rules are enforced."
Women's rights are the rights and entitlements claimed
for women and girls of many societies worldwide.
In some places these rights are institutionalized or supported by law, local
custom, and behaviour, whereas in others they may be ignored or suppressed. They
differ from broader notions of human rights through claims of an inherent
historical and traditional bias against the exercise of rights by women and
girls in favour of men and boys.
Issues commonly associated with notions of women's rights include, though are
not limited to, the right: to bodily integrity and autonomy; to vote (suffrage);
to hold public office; to work; to fair wages or equal pay; to own property; to
education; to serve in the military or be conscripted; to enter into legal
contracts; and to have marital or parental rights.
Sexism is prejudice or discrimination based on a person's sex. Sexist attitudes may stem from traditional stereotypes of gender roles, and may include the belief that a person of one sex is intrinsically superior to a person of the other. A job applicant may face discriminatory hiring practices, or (if hired) receive unequal compensation or treatment compared to that of their opposite-sex peers. Extreme sexism may foster sexual harassment, rape and other forms of sexual violence.
Egalitarianism (from French égal, meaning "equal")—or, rarely, equalitarianism—is a trend of thought that favors equality for all people. Egalitarian doctrines maintain that all humans are equal in fundamental worth or social status, according to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. The Cultural theory of risk holds egalitarianism as defined by (1) a negative attitude towards rules and principles, and (2) a positive attitude towards group decision-making, with fatalism termed as its opposite. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the term has two distinct definitions in modern English. It is defined either as a political doctrine that all people should be treated as equals and have the same political, economic, social, and civil rights or as a social philosophy advocating the removal of economic inequalities among people or the decentralisation of power. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
